When will I receive my bill?
The phone portion of your bill is generated at the same time as your broadband bill, on the anniversary date of your account-or the day in which your account was activated.

Can I have a paper invoice?
To do our bit and protect the environment, we do not automatically send you a printed monthly invoice. We will email you with a summary of your monthly call charges on your anniversary date (the day in which your service began with iiNet) each billing cycle.

For a fully itemised call breakdown, you may check the Call Tracker in the iiNet Toolbox 24 hours a day. You can even save your call history as an Excel spreadsheet for your own records through the Call Tracker. If you prefer to receive paper invoices, you may request these to be sent to your postal address every billing cycle. It will give a breakdown of your call summary by call type, but not itemised calls. There is an additional cost for paper invoices starting in February 2005.

Can I check my bills at any time?
In the iiNet Toolbox you can use our 'Call Tracker' to check your phone bill at any time and to keep track of your call history.

What are the costs and charges of Phone 1?
For complete information on Phone 1 call rates please visit our phone page.

Phone 1 features our call blocks, which are charged as follow:

  • Variable rates (per minute rate and flag fall) are charged until the $1.98 or $2.48 block is reached
  • $1.98 (which includes flag fall) is the most you will pay for a call that falls into the super block duration (e.g. 2 hours for national calls, 30 minutes for calls to the Top 20 countries).
  • $2.48 (which includes flag fall) is the most you will pay for a call that falls into the mobile block duration - 20 minutes for mobile calls.
  • If you talk longer than the super block cap duration, the per minute variable rate (e.g. 17c for national calls, 37c for mobiles) will apply thereafter.

What methods can I use to pay for my phone service?
You must have an automatic credit card or direct debit payment set up on your account to purchase Phone 1. Monthly phone charges will be paid by this method, as well as a total bill for all services through iiNet. A separate direct debit payment cannot be established solely for your phone service.
